Stivo is one of the most popular takeoff points in the area. Once you reach the top, you just need to spread your wing on the meadows to fly straight toward Lake Garda: the position is truly privileged. As soon as your feet leave the ground, you immediately find Arco beneath you and the entire valley opening up before your eyes.

There are two ways to live this experience here:

• For independent pilots: the meadows near the refuge offer a wide and comfortable takeoff area. The thermals allow you to stay airborne for a long time and fully enjoy the panorama before landing down in the valley.
• For first-timers: if you have never flown but want to treat yourself, we collaborate with professional local pilots who organize tandem flights. They take care of everything: you just need to take a few running steps with the pilot and enjoy the ride.

The refuge is just a stone's throw from the takeoff zone. Stop by for a coffee before preparing your gear, or use us as a meeting point if you have booked a tandem flight.
