Monte Stivo

The beautiful thing about Stivo is that, once you get to the top, there is nothing to block your view. When you reach the cross at 2,064 meters, you are at the highest point: you just need to turn around to look in every direction. On one side you have the Brenta Dolomites and the mountains of Trentino, on the other Lake Garda and the Po Valley. On clear days, you can even see as far as the Apennines.

The environment is that of the real mountain. As you climb, the woods give way to meadows, mountain pines, and rocks. It is a large, clean, and silent space. The summit is just a 5-minute walk from our refuge. You can head up as soon as you arrive to enjoy your achievement, or go up at your own pace after resting and eating something with us.
